For Medela Pump in Style
Pump in Style (PIS) has been introduced to breastfeeding mothers for more than two decades. This double-electric breast pump is designed for moms who pump several times a day.
Although PIS is loved by thousands of moms, the model receives negative comments from its users for the disadvantage that the breast milk occasionally flows into the tubing and this makes the tubing difficult to clean and mold grows easily. This is mostly because of the open system design, no barrier between the breast shield and the tubing.
It’s recommended to dry up the tubing after pump session: connect the tubing to the pump, leave the other end unconnected (no part installed), turn on the pump and wait for the tubing becomes completely dried. Check the tubing every time before using and moldy tubing should be replaced.
Two kinds of pump kit are provided for Medela Pump in Style.

Installation
The breast shield and the base connector are built together as one object. It cannot be separated. This breastshield is suitable ONLY for Medela Pump in Style, Swing Single, Symphony and Lactina. Available shield size includes 15, 17, 19, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, 34, 36 mm.

TThe breastshield is made up of a base connector and a detachable shield. The detachability enables to switch different sizes of breastshield during the pumping journey. Easy to attach and detach for use and cleaning. Compatible with all hands free pumping bras on the market.
The base connector itself is suitable for Medela Swing Single, Symphony and Lactina Pump. Compatible breastshield includes Medela PersonalFit and PersonalFit Flex. Maymom provides two types of base connectors for your choice: top air path and back air path.
The breastshield bears more compatibility. It's suitable for most Medela base connectors including PersonalFit Connector, PersonalFit Flex Connector, FreeStyle Connector, Sonata Connector, and Swing/Harmony Connector. Available shield sizes include: 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 24, 27, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36 mm. To accommodate different breast shapes, two series of breastshield are created: MyFit and MyFit Crater series.

For Medela Pump in Style with MaxFlow
Different Shape, Same Performance
Pump in Style with MaxFlow is newly announced by Medela in 2020. One of the magnificent differences between this one and old- typed Pump in Style is that the new one is closed system, which prevent the breast milk backflowing into the tubing resulting in ruining the motor.
Maymom develops a base connector to fit in the new model. The base connector equipped with a built-in backflow protector reduces the chance of breaking the backflow protector during assembly and disassembly . Due to the built-in design, it can replace Medela PersonalFit Flex Connector, Freestyle Connector, and Sonata Connector.
This specific connector is a closed system as well. It’s transparent and that enables to observe milkflow during pumping. Easy-to-grip shape for holding. Best of all, replacement parts are easy to acquire at inexpensive cost.
