Designed with thoughtful innovation to improve your experience when assembling a flange and a backflow protector.

In a closed system, the backflow protector plays a crucial role — it prevents breast milk from entering the tubing or pump motor, keeping the milk clean and protecting the pump from contamination.

From customer feedback, we learned that some users occasionally broke their backflow protectors while connecting parts. To address this issue, Maymom redesigned the structure: the stem of the inner case — previously the most fragile component — is now embedded within the base connector. This improvement greatly reduces the chance of damage during assembly.

Maymom currently offers three types of Closed System Connectors, each designed to fit different bottle necks:

  • Narrow-neck bottles (e.g., Medela, Ardo)
  • Wide-mouth with 4 threads (e.g., Spectra, Avent)
  • Wide-mouth with 2 threads (e.g., Lansinoh, Pigeon)

Each design ensures a secure, leak-free fit and smoother assembly, helping you pump with confidence.
